Mexican Pizza

pizza crust, refried beans, green chiles, sour cream, tomatoes, green onions, olives, Mexican cheese blend

   

Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) can refried beans

bullet

1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chiles

bullet

1 cup sour cream

bullet

2 (12-inch) prepared pizza crusts

bullet

2 tomatoes, deseeded, chopped

bullet

1/2 cup chopped green onions

bullet

1/4 cup sliced black olives

bullet

3 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend or Monterey Jack cheese


Step 1

Preheat oven to 400˚F. Combine refried beans, green chiles and sour cream in a small bowl; mix well.

Step 2

Spoon half the mixture evenly over each pizza crust.

Step 3

Sprinkle tomatoes, green onions and olives over bean mixture.

Step 4

Divided the cheese evenly between pizzas. Bake until cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.

Pre - Prepared Items for even Faster Serving Times 

you can prepare the pizza through step 3 up to 2 hours before baking. Refrigerate until ready to proceed with step 4.

Money Savers

Play up the Mexican theme and stretch your grocery dollars, too: purchase a package of small flour tortillas to use instead of the prepared pizza crusts. Then make up to 10 individual pizzas with 10 tortillas.


Serving Variation

For a spicier pizza, sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes over the top before baking.
