1 teaspoon chili powder |
 |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
 |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
 |
8 corn tortillas |
 |
1 tablespoon grated lime peel |
Step 1
Pound chicken to 1/4-inch thickness with a meat mallet.
Step 2
Combine butter, 2 tablespoons lime juice, chili powder,

Grill or broil until juices run clear when meat is pierced with a knife,

Sprinkle with lime peel. Serve with tortillas.

Serving Times You can prepare the chicken through step 2 up to 3
hours ahead. Refrigerate until ready to use. |
Money Savers When the price of
fresh limes is to high, you can substitute thawed frozen lime juice
instead. Or, try freshly squeezed lemon juice if you have it on hand for
a refreshing twist. |
Serving Variation
For a delicious change, you can substitute pork tenderloin
for the chicken. |
