Step 1
Preheat oven to 350˚F. Cut steak into 4 pieces. Pound to
1/2-inch thickness with a meat mallet.
Step 2
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add
steak. Cook until browned on both sides, about 10 minutes.
Step 3
Place steak in a baking dish. Pour taco sauce over steak.
Bake, covered, until tender, about 40 minutes.
Step 4
Spoon chilies over steak. Sprinkle with Monterey Jack.
Bake, uncovered, until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
